in a queue waiting on a bus this woman stood out from everyone else. there was something so poised and sanguine in her mannerisms, even when she blew her nose.

i love people watching, but that is evident in my photographs. i find it fun to watch people in parks, but i always want to know where they are going, and i get tempted to follow them! this lady was striding with purpose, maybe she had somewhere important to be!

i'd just love to know what they're talking about! old men love a good gossip just as much a women! look at the arms, he almost looks like he's going to do a hoedown..

it's funny what reminds you of people, those people who you once knew, and have since moved on, people you see everyday, who you are closest to and those who you only spoke to once but yet they somehow influenced a time in your life.

this little kid with his tiger bag reminded me of someone who was once my best friend. she possessed the same quirkiness, the same youthful character as this kid. when it came to bags, she wasn't to be outdone, hers was zippy from the cult kids cartoon rainbow. zippy had an oval rugby shaped head, almost like arnold from Hey Arnold! his mouth, a zip (obviously) and when he became too bossy or irritating this would be zipped shut to prevent him from being so. this zip was the the opening in the bag so all your belongings ended up in his belly. this was all good as long as you never needed those things ever again.

zippy loved to eat sweets, sing songs and tell his favourite jokes. he was the only character who really spoke his mind and would make for hours of laughter and entertainment. it's amazing how at the time i didn't realise how much she herself resembled the puppet she loved.

people on bikes are funny creatures,

look at this guy, how does he cycle with that ladder? is he sitting on it? surely that isn't comfortable! and where is he going that he needs to bring a ladder??

i really do wonder if he bashed into anyone...
